Ingredients

  • 250g paneer, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp Aai cha Tikka Masala
  • 1/2 cup thick yogurt
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 capsicum, cubed
  • 1 onion, cubed
  • 1 tomato, deseeded and cubed
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter for basting
  • Lemon wedges and onion rings for serving

Instructions

  1. 1 In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, Aai cha Tikka Masala, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, chaat masala, oil, and salt to make a smooth marinade.
  2. 2 Add paneer cubes, capsicum, onion, and tomato to the marinade. Gently mix until all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2-3 hours for better flavor.
  3. 3 If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. Thread the marinated paneer and vegetables onto the skewers alternately.
  4. 4 Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) or heat a grill pan over medium heat. Place the skewers on a greased baking tray or the grill pan.
  5. 5 Cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with butter, until the paneer is golden brown and slightly charred at the edges.
  6. 6 Sprinkle some chaat masala and squeeze lemon juice over the tikka. Serve hot with mint chutney, onion rings, and lemon wedges.
