Crispy Fish Fry
Crispy and spicy fish fillets marinated in aromatic spices and shallow fried to perfection.

Ingredients
- 4 fish fillets (surmai/pomfret/any white fish)
- 2 tbsp Aai cha Fish Masala
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1/4 cup semolina (sooji)
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- Salt to taste
- Oil for shallow frying
- Lemon wedges and onion rings for serving
Instructions
- 1 Clean and wash the fish fillets. Make shallow cuts on both sides and pat dry with a paper towel.
- 2 In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, Fish Masala, and salt to make a marinade.
- 3 Coat the fish fillets evenly with the marinade and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- 4 In a shallow plate, mix rice flour and semolina with a pinch of salt.
- 5 Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 6 Coat each marinated fish fillet in the rice flour-semolina mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- 7 Shallow fry the fish fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
- 8 Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- 9 Serve hot with lemon wedges, onion rings, and mint chutney.
