Classic Butter Chicken

Ingredients
- 500g boneless chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 tbsp Aaicha's Garam Masala
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1/2 cup fresh cream
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions
- 1 Marinate chicken with yogurt, half of the Garam Masala, ginger-garlic paste, and salt. Let it sit for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- 2 Heat butter in a pan and cook the marinated chicken until done. Remove and set aside.
- 3 In the same pan, add more butter and sauté the remaining ginger-garlic paste.
- 4 Add tomato puree, red chili powder, turmeric, and cook until oil separates.
- 5 Add the cooked chicken, remaining Garam Masala, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
- 6 Add fresh cream and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- 7 Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with naan or rice.
